 Unit I: Unity in Diversity and Diversity in Unity; Basic Philosophy and ‘the Preamble’ of Indian Constitution

1. Discuss how the concept of 'Unity in Diversity' was debated in the Constituent Assembly as a foundational principle for India's national identity.  

2. Analyze the role of the Preamble in reflecting the basic philosophy of the Indian Constitution, with reference to key CA debates.  (e.g., UPSC 2020: Nature of Preamble).
